1. What is Buddhism Today WebRing?

Buddhism Today WebRing is a group of web sites about Buddhism, either Mahayana or Theravada or any other Buddhist traditions. It is a badge of commitment to the Buddha and His ethical teachings.

As a companion on the Buddhadhamma, we would like to invite you to be a member of Buddhism Today WebRing. Buddhism Today WebRing is open to Buddhist websites, whose focus is Buddha's teachings and practices.


2. Why join Buddhism Today WebRing?

-- To promote the availability of Buddhist teachings of all schools and traditions, to all people around the world.

-- To increase the traffic or access to your own website as well as the other sites in the ring.

-- To support the work of Buddhism Today in spreading the Buddha's messages of compassion, wisdom and freedom to human beings.


3. How to join?

In order to become a member of Buddhism Today Webring, you just submit the application form. Your site will be placed in the membership "queue" while the Ringmaster, Ven. Thich Nhat Tu, reviews the site to make sure that it is worthy for admission to Buddhism Today Webring.

Each member site in Buddhism Today Webring carries a table like the sample at section 9 of  this page. The HTML fragment  may not be altered, for correctness of display. It should be noted here that the webmaster's name, Ven. Thich Nhat Tu, his email address, mailto:thichnhattu@yahoo.com, and site ID number will be changed into your name (e.g. Dr. Chan Nhu) your email address (e.g. mailto:channhu@yahoo.com)  and your site ID number (e.g. 30) accordingly, by WebRing Automated Management System, if you fill out and submit the application form below completely.

You may kindly add them to the first page of the site and notify the Ringmaster once that is done. Within seven days, the site is reviewed to make sure the code works, it will be moved from the queue into the ring accordingly.


4. Buddhism Today WebRing Site Submission Form

-- Please fill out the application below completely. Once the form is completed and submitted you will receive your Buddhism Today WebRing fragment in email. If the email address that you have provided does not work, your application will automatically be denied. Please make sure that you provide the correct email address and that you update us if your email address changes.

-- This fragment has been automated to include your email address and name. All you have to do is cut & paste the entire HTML fragment into your HTML on your webpage.   The fragment must go on the same page as the URL you have submitted.

-- Once you submit this request you have seven days to get the fragment installed. After seven days the queue automatically rejects your application and you will need to apply again. So be sure you are ready to make the changes to your page before you submit.

5. Ring members' special functions

Narrow the results of your search by checking the "All words" choice or the "Exact Phrase" choice and clicking the Search Ring button. Expand the results by checking the "Any Word" choice.
